In 2022’s first match of the year, the objective was simple for the Vikings – win the game and keep the playoff hopes alive. Unfortunately, they failed, and that too spectacularly. While losing quarterback Kirk Cousins before the crucial tie was tough, they should’ve performed better in a must-win tie against the Packers.
Thanks to a sleeping defense and a toothless attack, Minnesota comfortably lost the match 37-10. As lackluster as the Vikings were, credit has to be given to Aaron Rodgers who made it look like a child’s play. The reigning MVP threw for a fantastic 288 yards with 2 TDs to complete a successful night.
