Russell Wilson Conveys Wish to Mirror Tom Brady’s Patriots Run is Big News for Seahawks: “Hopefully I Get to Play in One Place…”
Russell Wilson, the star quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks, will play his 9th Pro Bowl game on Sunday. The 33-year-old quarterback is one of the best in the league and hopes to emulate the career of the greatest player ever.
During his Pro Bowl practice, Russ stopped by for a quick chat with Cameron Wolf. In the short conversation, Russ talked about what it means to play in his 9th Pro Bowl game. In light of Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger retiring, Cameron asked Russ how his mindset was. Considering Brady and Big Ben stayed with their team for a long time, Russ wishes to do the same. He said, “Hopefully I get to play in one place for a long long time like those guys did.”

The New England Patriots drafted Tom Brady as the 199th overall pick in the 6th round of the 2000 NFL draft. For the next 20 years, Brady played for the Patriots, winning 6 Super Bowls with them. Russell Wilson began his NFL career with the Seattle Seahawks in 2012. Moreover, he has been with the Seahawks for ten seasons and won the Super Bowl in 2014.
