With around 90 days left for the new season to begin, teams are shifting gears. As teams continue with their OTAs, they will be expecting their players to polish themselves up ahead of the new season. The Buffalo Bills will be expecting the same from their star receiver, Stefon Diggs, and their QB Josh Allen. But the 29-year-old WR raised concerns after missing out on Phase 1 of the OTAs. This left many fans and analysts wondering if there is still bad blood lingering after last season’s outburst on the sidelines by Stefon Diggs during their match against the Cincinnati Bengals. Even his brother, Dallas Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs, shared an edited photo of his older brother in a Cowboys jersey, causing trade rumors to fuel up.

But now, the brothers face another harrowing situation. And not because of any incident during off-season training. But the Diggs brother finds themselves in a controversial situation because of the antics of their third brother. This comes in after new details hint at the possibility of a diamond heist that involves the sibling of the Diggs brothers.

Siblings Stefon and Trevon Diggs are not the only brothers. They also have a third brother, Darez Diggs, who also played professional football like his other siblings, but not in the NFL, but rather in the XFL. Now, the Diggs duo find themselves in an embarrassing situation, after their former XFL-playing brother lands himself in troubled waters.

According to a recent article by the New York Post, Darez Diggs was allegedly involved in a violent elevator attack that occurred on the 29th of May in an apartment in Los Angeles. The article talks about how TMZ obtained footage of Darez stopping the elevator door with his hands in the lobby. He then, along with two of his acquaintances, boards the elevator and trash the man onto the ground. The footage then proceeds to show an orange bag being snatched from the man, while being kicked in the face. Police were informed that there were alleged diamonds inside the bag, and a robbery report was filed with the authorities.  Just like his NFL Stefon Diggs and Trevon Diggs, Darez also wishes to fulfill his dreams of playing in the NFL, while also following other passions in life.

The Life of Darez Diggs

During college, Darez Diggs played CB for the University of Alabama as one of their youngest CBs. He helped the football program win the Conference and Division titles in 2018. After graduating from college, Darez Diggs played for a brief period of time in the XFL with the Los Angeles Wildcats in 2020. Apart from this, he also owns a luxury streetwear brand called Blue Boil. He currently focuses on building his business while consistently training with the hopes of playing in the NFL one day.

While the police are yet to make any arrests, it will be interesting to see how the outcome verdict will be for Darez Diggs in the coming days ahead.
