Former NFL player Terrell Owens spoke recently in an interview with Mike Tyson. He noted that despite Tom Brady’s success on the biggest stage in the NFL, he doesn’t consider Tom Brady to be the greatest of all time.
That accolade, in his mind, belongs to Joe Montana. He compared the duo to NBA legends Michael Jordan and LeBron James. He noted that much like Michael Jordan, Joe Montana is undefeated in the Super Bowl which is what puts him above Brady in the conversation.
Tom Brady- Not the true GOAT?
Coming from Owens, it is a bold stand to take. Several analysts and players across the world consider Tom Brady the greatest of all time. He has won more Super Bowl titles in his own career than any franchise in NFL history.
However, his record in the Super Bowl isn’t perfect. He has lost on multiple occasions in the Super Bowl. But he has had more success than failures on the biggest stage the NFL has to offer.
