Tom Brady is often regarded as the best player to grace the game. Despite that, he never shied away from complimenting other players. He has always been seen praising other players when they are doing well.

In 2017, in an interview, Brady was asked about his views on Colin Kaepernick. It was the year when Kap’s contract had ended with the 49ers, and he was without a team. There were many issues surrounding Kap, but Brady didn’t back away from giving his honest opinion about the former 49ers quarterback.

Brady said, “I’ve always watched him and admired him, the way that he’s played he was a great young quarterback. He came to our stadium and beat us and took his team to the Super Bowl.”

Tom Brady further talked about why Colin Kaepernick deserved a chance to get back into the league. He said, “He accomplished a lot in the pros as a player. And he’s certainly qualified, and I hope he gets a shot.”

Tom Brady returned from his short retirement to lead the Tampa Bay Buccaneers again. He is hungry for more and is looking to win his 8th Super Bowl. Brady had faced Kap in the early part of the last decade, and the duo might face each other once again in the upcoming season.

Colin Kaepernick recently worked out with the Las Vegas Raiders. There is a high possibility that Kap would finally be able to get his chance back in the NFL. However, it may be not as a starting quarterback for a franchise. Things change pretty quickly in the league. Players get injured here and there, and as a result, we could see Kap back on the field pretty soon.
