In 2017, in an interview, Brady was asked about his views on Colin Kaepernick. It was the year when Kap’s contract had ended with the 49ers, and he was without a team. There were many issues surrounding Kap, but Brady didn’t back away from giving his honest opinion about the former 49ers quarterback.

Brady said, “I’ve always watched him and admired him, the way that he’s played he was a great young quarterback. He came to our stadium and beat us and took his team to the Super Bowl.”
