Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers suffered a humbling 3-38 loss to New Orleans Saints in Week 1 of the 2021 NFL season. The reigning NFC North champions failed to challenge Sean Payton’s team in opening week. Even league MVP Aaron Rodgers looked helpless as the Saints marched away to a comfortable win in the absence of their star quarterback, Drew Brees.

Rodgers and Packers coach Matt LaFleur both agreed that they need to move on from this loss and find their mojo if they intend on making the playoffs again.

But despite the unfortunate loss, veteran QB Aaron Rodgers won the hearts of New Orleans fans as he made a selfless gesture in aid of those affected by hurricane Ida.

37-year old Aaron Rodgers had one of his most forgettable games in his NFL career in Week 1 of the 2021 NFL season. The 3-time NFL MVP went 15 of 28, throwing for 133 yards with 2 interceptions and not a single passing touchdown.

But he made a touching gesture by donating his game jersey for an auction to raise funds for those affected by hurricane Ida.

The Packers will go up against divisional rivals, Detroit Lions in Week 2 of the ongoing NFL season. Rodgers and Co. will look to get back to winning ways as they aim for another deep playoff run this season.
