At a glance, it looks like another glossy training space. Turf, racks, and equipment all lined up in crisp symmetry. But what stands behind it is no mere showroom. It is personal architecture, designed to carry weight far beyond its steel and concrete. For Jordan Chiles, this gym represents something more enduring than a competition season. It is the answer to a need that goes deeper than convenience. And it is something that even the GOAT Simone Biles doesn’t have access to yet!

Chiles, now a two-time Olympian and World Champion, has spent her career in carefully structured facilities. National training centers, elite gyms, college programs. But consistency off the mat required something she could control. A place that reflected her routines, her pace, her evolution. Training that no longer confined to formal sessions. Training that could continue in the margins. As her ambition grew, so did the need for a space that matched it.

So she built it.

With support from NIKE, who has partnered with her since 2023, Chiles designed and developed a full-scale home gym, tailored to her exacting standards. It is not a repurposed garage or a set of mats on hardwood. It is a purpose-built facility, grounded in professional-grade details and crafted according to her input. No other gymnast on the U.S. national team has access to a custom-built NIKE gym like this. And the distinction is not lost on her. Sharing the update, Indsidegym posted on Instagram, “An Olympic gold medalist deserves a custom workout gym and Jordan Chiles got exactly that – a custom outfitted Nike home gym that looks spectacular. How great is that?!” Surely, every decision, from the shape of the racks to the specific tones of color, was deliberate.

Chiles was involved in each choice, shaping the gym as much as she shapes her routines. The structure is utilitarian, but the intent is intimate. It is, above all, a reflection of control: over training, over environment, and over longevity. “I think I enjoy weight training primarily because of the longevity it’s given me,” she said. “I came back for two Olympics, which is rare in gymnastics, where athletes are typically done by 16 or 18.” College-level conditioning, she adds, gave her the strength to remain competitive. Now that advantage lives with her, not just in her body, but in her home.

Thus, for Chiles, the gym is not a symbol. It is a mechanism. It supports her goals, it accommodates her family, and it allows her to continue rewriting the arc of a gymnastics career that has already exceeded every expectation and continues to expand its reach. And Chiles knows a thing or two about pushing boundaries.

How Jordan Chiles turned past battles into bold beauty statement

Jordan Chiles has recently stepped into an entirely different spotlight, this time, not for her acrobatics, but for her self-possession. The 23-year-old gymnast appeared on the cover of the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, a landmark moment she described simply as “A dream come true.” Sharing the cover with Salma Hayek Pinault, Olivia Dunne, and Lauren Chan, Chiles became part of a lineage of women celebrated not only for their beauty but for the breadth of their accomplishments.

In earlier years, Chiles openly wrestled with insecurities about her body, facing a sport that often imposes unspoken rules on appearance. This cover is neither an escape nor a detour. Rather, it was a calculated statement. “The biggest thing I want people to take away is understanding that my body is my body—and that I have the ability to express it in millions of different ways,” she said. There was no hesitation in her voice, only the calm resolve of someone who has earned comfort in her skin through discipline and deliberate reflection.

“I never thought in a million years I would go to a second Olympics,” she said, reflecting on her journey to Paris. But now, she is navigating new terrain with the same controlled intensity she brings to a routine. “It’s really cool just being able to finally embrace my beauty in the way I can,” added the girl, who had to fight several battles with body image issues. For Chiles, this appearance is less a departure from gymnastics than an extension of the confidence she has built within it and without.
