Jeremy Miado is looking to continue his successful run
After all, Miado is enjoying his longest-ever run of success inside the Circle, with three back-to-back knockouts in the past three years, and he is keen to continue that streak with a highlight-reel finish over Williams when they square off.
“I believe he’s faced a higher quality of opponents when it comes to solely striking, but if we’re going to talk about mixed martial arts, then I believe I’m more experienced than him, and that’s something that I have over him,” the Bangkok-based star warned.

“I expect a finish. I’ll end it with either a KO or TKO.”

The Muay Thai specialist has amassed three wins, grabbed the #5 spot in the divisional rankings from Miado, and participated in a Muay Thai barnburner fight against Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon.

It’s an intimidating resume for any fighter to face, but Miado has used each of Williams’ outings to gather intel on “Mini T,” which is something he feels will play to his advantage on Friday.
“We’ll see, we’ll see [which fighter is better in which department]. It really depends on where this match ends up. I’ll be ready for him. If there’s a chance for me to go for a takedown, and it will be advantageous for me, then I’ll take him down,” he said.

“But if I feel like I’m ahead in the striking, and I feel comfortable, then why would I take him down? I guess it will depend on how the momentum of the match plays out.”
What’s on the line for Miado-Williams
With two streaks on the line, both men stand a fair chance at victory, and a win for either will undoubtedly bring about a shake-up in the rankings.

Miado could re-enter the top five and start to eye a shot at the World Title, and Williams could potentially push himself further up the stacked division.
Win or lose, though, “The Jaguar” is focused on putting on a thrilling contest for the fans inside the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
“This one’s going to be a fight between two men who are willing to throw hands. This will be a very good fight, you better not miss this,” he asserted.
Stay tuned to ONE on Prime Video 3 this Friday, October 21, to catch these strawweight fighters in action.
