Eight fighters walked away with some of the biggest wins of their career, which should set them on a positive note as they aim to open their 2023 accounts with a bang.

Here are three possible opponents for three of the biggest victors from another captivating Prime Video card from ONE Championship.

#1 Anatoly Malykhin

The obvious choice for Anatoly “Sladkiy” Malykhin is to unify his ONE Interim Heavyweight World Champion with divisional king Arjan “Singh” Bhullar.

However, if that still fails to come to fruition, it would be nice for the Russian slugger to run it back with Reinier “The Dutch Knight” de Ridder for the light heavyweight gold.

The former two-division king dropped his ONE Light Heavyweight World Title to the Russian slugger in the main event of ONE on Prime Video 5. And given how fast it ended, fans would love to see the pair square it off inside the Circle again.

“The Dutch Knight” deserves an immediate rematch once he has fully recovered. He still owns a 16-1 record and possesses enough skills to submit Malykhin on any other day.

Malykhin, on the other hand, wouldn’t mind another fight against the Breda native, as another win over the BJJ specialist should only take his reputation upwards.

#2 Kade Ruotolo

Kade Ruotolo once again showed why he is the ONE Lightweight Submission Grappling World Champion with a resolute display versus BJJ World Champion Matheus Gabriel

Gabriel, to his credit, continuously frustrated the divisional king by attempting a couple of submission attempts from guard. However, none of it could persuade either one of the judges scoring Circle-side, as Ruotolo’s back-to-back submission attempts and ruthlessness pulled him away on the scorecards.

The American would love to put his gold on the line against whoever ONE draws against him next, but it would be interesting to see Ruotolo in an MMA bout next year.

ONE’s lightweight MMA division is stacked with serious talent, and should Ruotolo agree to switch disciplines, it’ll certainly be nothing short of excitement for the talented martial artist.

#3 Denice Zamboanga

Denice “The Menace” Zamboanga may have only earned a split decision win at ONE on Prime Video 5, but it certainly would have drawn a huge sigh of relief for the talented Filipina warrior in her quest for the ONE Atomweight World Title.

Zamboanga entered her bout versus Lin Heqin on the back of two successive defeats. But she showcased tremendous abilities in the striking and grappling department to register her ninth career win.

As a result, the #3-ranked atomweight contender could look for a battle against top-ranked star Stamp Fairtex in 2023.

A battle between the two would be a highly-entertaining affair. After all, both women own remarkable striking and have been sharpening their tools on the canvas to prepare for divisional queen “Unstoppable” Angela Lee.
