Tiger Woods recently made his first public appearance since the solo car crash in February. He addressed the media on Tuesday as the host of the Hero World Challenge. Moreover, Woods made it clear that he will never play a full schedule on the PGA Tour. And he will pick and choose the events in which he wishes to play.

Rory McIlroy gave a press conference on Wednesday. During the same, a reporter questioned him about Woods‘ limited schedule plans. To which Rory, said, he hasn’t played a full schedule since 2013. Hence, this is not a surprise.

“He’s been through injuries, and he’s, you know, he’s been through the wars. He’s put his body through a lot. You play the events you want to play, whatever gets your juices flowing. For him, that’s major and maybe a couple of other events a year, and that’s it. I think he said yesterday that’s what he feels like he can get himself ready for. I mean, it’s smart, it’s smart to do that.”
