Rafael Nadal Joins a New Venture To Encourage the Needy During Crisis

World No. 2 Rafael Nadal was last seen at the Australian Open 2021. After a successful run at the tournament, the Spaniard’s journey was cut short in the quarterfinal when he lost to Greek sensation Stefanos Tsitsipas. It is considered one of the best matches of the tournament as Stefanos won the match after losing the initial two sets.
Recently, Rafael Nadal featured in a short clip, which was shot while celebrating the 50th anniversary of Spanish mobile company, ‘Telefono de la esperanza.’
During the clip, Rafa is seen complimenting the volunteers for their great efforts in helping people facing personal problems. Furthermore, he vowed to take the initiative in the movement.

Rafael Nadal: “It is a great satisfaction to tell you that I am joining the volunteers”
The thirteen-time Roland Garros champion stated, “Hello everyone the phone of hope turns 50 and for me, it is a great satisfaction to tell you that I am joining the volunteers of this generous association that has been listening empathically to millions of people who have personal problems or in moments of personal crisis.
The Spaniard was left impressed with the volunteers’ desire and wanted them to continue inspiring. He also lent them a big hug. The 34-year-old added, “I wanted to encourage you to continue doing this work that is so important to so many island people to move on that what you are doing is impressive a big hug.”
