Within the vast landscape of prodigious natural talent, a select few individuals elevate their abilities through unwavering dedication and become genuinely exceptional. Certainly, Cristiano Ronaldo epitomizes this ideal with his commendable work ethic that has often astounded even those closest to him. This includes his former Manchester United teammate Anderson, who asserts had he replicated CR7’s mental fortitude, he may have achieved an even higher level of prowess on the field.

As a member of the Red Devils from 2007 to 15, the former ex-Brazilian star played under legendary coach Sir Alex Ferguson. Alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, Anderson accrued 10 titles throughout his tenure. However, the 35-year-old expressed lingering regrets over not having aspired for “a little bit more.”

In a recent interview with Ge Globo, Anderson, who concluded his professional career in 2019, nostalgically recounted the period he and his fellow teammate, Nani, resided at Cristiano Ronaldo’s residence for a year. He went on to share vivid insights about their training routine. “Training was at 9.30 am, but sometimes we had to go there at 6.30 am because Ronaldo was at the club, and we went with him,” the former midfielder added. “Nani and I would sleep there on stretchers and wait because he had to start his work,” stated Anderson.
