But it was not meant to be as her team, Iowa Hawkeyes, came up short against South Carolina in the championship final. However, USWNT star Alex Morgan has no such doubts regarding the 22-year-old’s impact on the game and shared a touching message via social media. On her Instagram, Alex Morgan posted a story of Caitlin Clark’s farewell post to the Iowa Hawkeyes. The San Diego Wave FC captain gave the caption, “Changed The Game Forever.” And there is no doubt regarding this.
