Despite moving to Al-Nassr, the soccer fraternity believed Cristiano Ronaldo couldn’t replicate his old antics. The goals dried up, and more than an influence, he became a hindrance. But put those claims to rest because CR7 is back! The legendary Portuguese international scored four goals in a match against Al-Wehda in a performance that rolled back the years.

After not celebrating his first goal in Saudi Arabia, he did the famous ‘Siuu’ celebration to the delight of the fans. Significantly, this is the eleventh time he scored four or more goals against his opponent.

To score a hat trick for some players is a rare feat. But Ronaldo is a level up compared to other soccer players. As he brought his magic to Saudi Arabia, let’s relive the moments that made him a glorifying legend of the game.

Cristiano Ronaldo keeps scoring four goals!

Most of it came during his time at Real Madrid. The first of those four goals came back in 2010 against Racing Santander. He scored four poacher goals inside the box, and one was a cool and composed penalty from the spot. Showcasing his talents to the Madrid faithful, Ronaldo received his coronation at the Santiago Bernabéu. From there, he never looked back.

The next set of beauties came in a match against Sevilla in 2011, his second one, particularly a beauty, where he took two touches to beat the defender and finished it with aplomb.

The third time he did this was against Elche in 2014, where he scored two penalties, a header, and a tidy finish to give Madrid a convincing victory. Nonetheless, Elche took the lead in the game but failed to stop Ronaldo’s perseverance to score goals.

The goal-scoring spree continued in 2015 in a Champions League game against Malmo. The first was a sensational trademark knuckleball free kick from Ronaldo, while the other three were a collection of his bona fide predatory instincts inside the box.

In 2016 though, he was at the peak of his powers. After winning the Euro 2016 with Portugal, Ronaldo won the famous Ballon d’Or for the fourth time in his career. Against Elche, he scored a blinder from outside the box, a trademark free-kick into the top corner, and scored a third goal by becoming the fox in the box by scoring, a thumping header for his fourth. It probably became the best of the goals he scored in a match. Just enjoy the wizardry brilliance of the man!

How Cristiano Ronaldo Manages to Stay Fit at Such an Age

The sixth one came in the colors of Portugal when he scored against Andorra. An ordinary day in the office for Ronaldo.

Two five-goal hauls for the icon

The goals kept coming in against Girona in 2018, where he put four past a stranded goalkeeper. Two goals came from his weaker left foot (not to him), striking with incredible venom.

He scored the second set of four goals in an international match against Lithuania in 2019. The Euro qualifying match had his name written above as he turned on the afterburners in the away game with four tidy finishes.

The latest one was against Al-Wehda in a match where he answered all the critics with an astonishing performance. The Saudi Arabian fans jumped with joy to see their star man celebrate in front of them. What a brilliant comeback!

Apart from a four-goal haul, he scored five goals in two matches. The first one came against Granada in 2015, where he scored five sensational goals, out of which the third one was a venomous, long ranger. Although the keeper got to the ball, he couldn’t stop it from flying into the next.

The second match was against Espanyol in 2015. Becoming the fox in the box, he scored a hat trick in under 20 minutes and paved the way for another stunning performance.

To sum up, he is the best goalscorer the soccer fraternity could probably witness. The way he maneuvers inside the box and has an eye for the goal is second to none. Cristiano Ronaldo still shines amongst the best.
