As the weekend approaches, Al Nassr will be back in domestic action once again. Cristiano Ronaldo and Co. will be rallying for three points in the Roshn Saudi League. But just hours before the match, they received a major blow as CR7’s teammate was banned and fined following his disgraceful behavior of punching a player.

Earlier, during the RO16 of the Kings Cup of Champions, Al Nassr faced Al Ettifaq, where they clinched a narrow 1-0 victory. Both sides were 10 men down as Sadio Mane’s 108th-minute strike helped the Riyadh side progress through the next round. Al Etiffaq’s Ali Hazazi and Al Nassr’s Anderson Talisca were the ones who left the pitch early after seeing a red card.

Notably, Talisca was sent off after he was seen punching an opponent. Unfortunately, the consequences of his actions have taken a huge toll on him as well as on Al Nassr. Apparently, Talisca has been sanctioned by the Disciplinary Committee, as he has received a two-match ban for his unacceptable conduct. The player isn’t available for the next league game against Al-Khaleej and the next Kings Cup’s quarter-final match against Al-Shabab.

Additionally, he has also been fined 20,000 riyals or $5332 by the disciplinary committee. Indeed, it is a major blow for Al Nassr, who won’t have the Brazilian superstar at their disposal. Although it was Talisca’s fault after he punched a player, the red card received by Al Etiffaq’s Ali Hazazi was defended by manager Steven Gerrard. He stated that it was not a correct decision from the referee.

Nevertheless, it remains to be seen how Luis Castro will navigate without his star player in these two matches. Meanwhile, Ronaldo also recently suffered a setback as he got entangled in a legal soup.

Cristiano Ronaldo entangled in a legal soup

Shockingly, Insparya Hair Medical Clinic, associated with Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez, is currently facing legal scrutiny. The Tax Agency has raised concerns regarding the invoices issued for services provided between 2019 and 2021. They assert that these invoices lacked the necessary Value Added Tax (VAT).

Insparya’s defense is based on the argument that the services offered were for alopecia treatment, which is considered a medical condition exempt from VAT. They also affirmed its compliance with all legal regulations and standards, encompassing taxation, labor, healthcare, and regulatory matters. Conversely, the Tax Agency contends that the majority of procedures were performed for aesthetic reasons, making them subject to a 21% VAT. It remains to be seen how Ronaldo will navigate this situation.
