Even though he continued to practice for a longer time, discomfort forced him to end the session early and CR7 visited the club’s clinic for treatment. Unfortunately, this setback will reportedly keep him out for 2 weeks, forcing him to miss the upcoming contests. Fixture-wise how does that look?

Considering the two-week absence of the 5x Ballon d’Or winner, he will surely make a return against his Saudi rival, Al Hilal on February 8, which would mark the end of the Riyadh Season Cup for Luis Castro’s side. But that’s the worst-case scenario. That means he will miss the chance to evoke nostalgia among fans worldwide, as he could witness the game from the sidelines, just like every fan.

However, if all the prayers for a successful ‘last dance’ do come true, CR7 might play for just a few minutes against Lionel Messi and Co.
