The Premier League kicks off tomorrow after the international break. In Ten Hag’s recent press conference, the United manager was asked about Varane’s spot in the first team. Ten Hag shared an update regarding the situation as he said, “Raphael Varane and his exit? I don’t know what you’re talking about. Rumours…He’s a very important player, but there is internal competition”.

Raphael Varane was left disappointed as he was placed on the bench during the Manchester Derby. This further deteriorated the relationship between the two as there are now talks about a possible winter move for the French international. However, Ten Hag has denied any such claims and instead focuses on Harry Maguire return in form and Jonny Evans’s resurgence.
