After enjoying a vacation on a picturesque island in the Mediterranean, Cristiano Ronaldo is back to his usual business. The Portuguese superstar returned to Saudi Arabia in order to make preparations for the new season with his domestic side. Likewise, he is also making time to invest his hard-earned money into new kinds of ventures.

Aside from making his name in soccer, the striker is also known to be an astute investor. It was just recently that he invested $10 million in a mineral water brand. Subsequently, he has been motivated to make another significant investment in a company that deals with one of his favorite things.

Cristiano Ronaldo gives a six-word response on his latest investment

The world is accustomed to Ronaldo’s love for watches. The striker has an affinity for luxury timepieces and has been seen wearing various prestigious brands. In fact, he also has one of the most impressive watch collections.  Apparently, the Al Nassr man has recently bought a stake in a luxury watch reseller company, Chrono24.

It is one of the leading marketplaces for luxury watches. Talking about his investment, the 38-year-old even gave a six-word response. He shared a post on his Instagram story, where he can be seen holding a jersey of Chorno24 with the CEO, Tim Stracke. He wrote, “Very happy for this new investment.”

Earlier, the company also reacted to Ronaldo joining the watch marketplace as a stakeholder. “Watch lovers all over the world, we have amazing news for you: Cristiano Ronaldo, the football just joined Chrono24 as a shareholder,” said the company. Interestingly, Ronaldo isn’t the only investor as earlier LVMH head honcho Bernard Arnault joined the company in August 2021.

Founded in 2003, the company asserts that it showcases a collection of over 530,000 watches sourced from over 3,000 dealers. The website purportedly receives over nine million distinct visitors on a monthly basis. Indeed, it’s a neat collaboration among both sides, who are very passionate about the watches.

The CR7’s passion for watches

Ronaldo’s love for watches is evident through his extensive collection, which features a variety of luxury and high-end brands. Subsequently, the $500 million worth soccer star also has a significant partnership with the Swiss watchmaker Jacob & Co. and has often been seen wearing rare watches.

His admiration for fine craftsmanship and stylish designs is often showcased through his choice of watches, which have become an integral part of his personal style and image. Certainly, his latest involvement with Chrono24 not only boosts his investment portfolio but also gives him a chance to meet watch enthusiasts like him.
