The American football player recently announced the deal with his wife, Kealia Ohai Watt, who is also a soccer player. Watt announced he is getting “retired from retirement” as he makes a comeback to sports as an owner. In fact, according to Watt, her wife is the true brain behind the investment. Now the couple will be looking to become a part of England’s renowned club. In fact, they have already started their owner’s work, as Watt recently made a huge announcement.

JJ Watt makes major announcement regarding Burnley

After getting relegated from the Premier League last year, Burnley has finally returned to the English top division. The Clarets recently clinched promotion after winning the EFL Championship. Former Manchester City star Vincent Kompany led the second-division side to glory, as he took his side back to the big leagues.

This success, of course, caught the eye of Watt, who couldn’t stop himself from hailing the gaffer. In fact, he even made a big announcement regarding Kompany’s contract. The former NFL player shared a post of the manager on his Instagram story and wrote, “Our manager!!! 5 more years!” Watt ecstatically shared the news with all his fans.

Kompany has signed a five-year deal with the Clarets. The former Man City legend arrived from Belgian side Anderlecht last summer. He also ended the speculation regarding his future after getting offers for other managerial vacancies. Tottenham and Chelsea were eyeing the former defender as their leading manager.
