It seemed to upset them because Napoli’s fanbase firmly believes that this title exclusively belongs to their legendary player, Diego Armando Maradona. Consequently, all Napoli supporters criticized Insigne, viewing it as a “betrayal” by their former captain. Subsequently, the soccer star had to make a U-turn and issue an apology.
