Along with representing the Spanish national soccer team at numerous FIFA World Cups, Gerard Pique has been an astute entrepreneur with a net worth of about $80 million. The soccer veteran is already the owner of two smaller Spanish soccer clubs. Along with that, he also owns Kosmos Holding, a sports event management company.

Pique’s most recent and famous business venture is the Kings League. The FC Barcelona legend reportedly earned millions from the ‘final four’ at Camp Nou.

He is simply ignoring all the critics around him and just moving on with his business.

How much revenue did the Kings League ‘final four’ generate?

Pique will look to majorly expand the Kings League in the next few seasons. While the first season of the soccer league was on Twitch, the soccer veteran will definitely look to crack a better deal with a broadcasting company. Also, organizing the ‘final four’ at Camp Nou was also a huge breakthrough moment for the unique soccer league.

More than 92,000 people turned up at Camp Nou. As per People En Espanyol, the ‘final four’ at FC Barcelona’s home ground has generated more than $3,000,000. Apart from box office sales from $10 – $60, the grand sports event also generated revenue from online reproductions, food and drink purchases, and different type of merchandise like hats, sweatshirts, scarves, and many more.

The fans are now eagerly looking forward to the next season of the Kings League. Before that, Gerard Pique and Ibai Llanos are preparing to launch the unique soccer league in Brazil. Just a few days ago, the Kings League unveiled Neymar Jr. as one of the team owners in the Brazilian Kings League.

It is safe to say that Gerard Pique has gone against the odds and pulled off a more-than-successful soccer event at the grandest stage. He is now accustomed to ignoring the constant public backlash from the fans.

Embarrassment didn’t leave Pique at his own Kings League finale too. Before the final four could begin, the organizers kept the fans entertained with different live performances. Popular Spanish rappers, Chuty and Gazir were present at the stadium to drop a few lines. However, the plan completely backfired on Gerard Pique.

In an attempt to entertain the crowd, the rapper duo started rapping Shakira’s lines from her diss track. Nevertheless, the soccer veteran didn’t retaliate at all and continued looking at his phone. On the other hand, the whole stadium came alive after the rappers made the unexpected Shakira reference. This wasn’t the first time someone tried to humiliate Pique in a public space. It’s reached such an extent that the FC Barcelona veteran doesn’t care anymore.
