Lionel Messi signed for Inter Miami in a deal that will see him earn $54 million per season. The Argentine signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Florida club. Messi also ditched an offer by Saudi club, Al Hilal, in a deal worth $500 million per season. With the signing of the World Cup winner, Beckham’s side has hit gold. Inter Miami confirmed the postponement via their social media handle in a statement notifying fans, “Our regular season MLS match on August 20th against Charlotte FC has been postponed to a later date to be announced due to progression within the Leagues Cup. Tickets originally purchased for the Aug. 20 MLS match will be honored for the new date in which the game will be played.”
