Last night, Cristiano Ronaldo and Anderson Talisca made headlines! Both the soccer stars scored braces for Al Nassr during their win against Al Ahli. While their performances kept both of them in the limelight, attention has somehow shifted to Talisca, who has recently criticized the Brazil national team’s coach over selection.

Also, just hours ago, Anderson Talisca’s brother tore Ronaldo to shreds. Now, it’s the eight-word shot from the Al Nassr star that has brought him into the spotlight.

Just hours ago, the Brazil national team released their squad for the month of October. As usual, names like Neymar, Vinicius Jr., Casemiro, and Marquinhos have managed to make the cut. Ronaldo’s Al Nassr teammate, Anderson Talisca, also hoped to receive a call from the national team. Unfortunately, he didn’t, which eventually prompted him to take an eight-word shot at Brazil’s boss.

The winger recently shared a story on Instagram where he simply wrote, “Eu tô começando a achar que eu não sou brasileiro não,” with a lot of laughing emojis. As translated by DeepL, he wrote, “I’m beginning to think that I’m not Brazilian.” Certainly, his words suggest he is subtly taunting Brazil coach Fernando Diniz’s selection choices.

Talisca was already left out by Diniz for the international fixtures in September. However, despite showcasing emphatic domestic form, the Brazil national team’s head coach didn’t choose to include Talisca for the month of October. This eventually led him to take a dig at Diniz. Indeed, it’s quite an unusual and witty taunt from the Al Nassr star. Meanwhile, in addition to Talisca, his own brother recently stunned the world with his comments about Cristiano Ronaldo.

Talisca’s brother takes a dig at Cristiano Ronaldo

Recently, there was a contentious discussion on social media sparked by Anderson Talisca’s brother Alison Lopes. Lopes asserted that his sibling, Anderson, is the true icon of Al Nassr. In a frank conversation with a Ronaldo fan, Lopes stated, “Hey, Anderson is the team’s idol, but Cristiano Ronaldo has the biggest name, the guy is a powerhouse for everything he has built and done for soccer, the brand he is. But Anderson is the team’s idol.”

However, this statement didn’t sit well with Ronaldo’s passionate supporters, who argued that every Al Nassr fan favored Ronaldo over Talisca. Lopes had a response prepared and insisted that idols make history with the team. He said, “Cristiano Ronaldo doesn’t even have a history with Al Nassr.” This was indeed a bold assertion from Talisca’s brother, leading soccer enthusiasts to ponder whether loyalty holds more weight than the global appeal of a superstar.
