Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are the two names that have been ruling the soccer world for over a decade. But as growing age slows the two veterans down, fans get tense about whether they’ll see these legendary names on the pitch ever again after these two hang up their boots. Thankfully, the two icons’ kids are also keen to follow in the footsteps of their fathers. The Argentine soccer legend’s son recently went viral after ripping a volley into the back of the net whilst dawning the Inter Miami colors.

Interestingly, this outlandish video surfaced just hours after Cristiano Jr. made his debut in Saudi Arabia. Is this the start of the newest and youngest soccer era?

It seems soccer runs in the veins of the Lionel Messi family. While the world is aware of La Pulga’s prowess, you would be surprised to see what his little ones have in store for us. Interestingly, just like his father, the Argentine’s eldest son, Thiago Messi, also joined the Inter Miami academy. And we must tell you, Thiago hasn’t fallen short of impressing everyone in Fort Lauderdale.

Recently, a clip was shared on one of Inter Miami’s fan page accounts where Thiago was playing in a match. A feisty winger wearing No. 9 was dribbling alongside the wings and managed to keep the ball while chipping it near the box. As the ball came near the box, Thiago positioned himself to score an outrageous volley, which eventually went back into the net.

All the Inter Miami teenagers ran to celebrate alongside Thiago while the spectators were cheering. Indeed, it was quite a jaw-dropping goal from little Messi. Certainly, Papa Messi would be proud to see the antics of his 10-year-old son. Interestingly, Thiago Messi already has a rival like his dad by default. Ronaldo’s son is also gearing up, as he even made his debut for Al Nassr.
