One possible reason for Inter Miami’s frantic transfer activity could be to meet the MLS roster compliance. After all, a high-level executive elucidated the club’s predicament by saying, “They are screwed.”

Edison Azcona: A victim of the roster compliance struggle?

Dominican midfielder Edison Azcona is on the verge of joining the USL’s Las Vegas Lights. as per Tom Bogert. In case, a player’s salary exceeds this budget charge, the MLS offers relief mechanisms like General Allocation Money & Target Allocation Money. In spite of this, Lionel Messi’s side had 10 players who exceeded the budget limit! Hence, the option available for the club is to offload players, preferably those on were on high paychecks.
