The Saudi giants made an extensive effort to persuade the young striker to join. This was revealed in a recent podcast interview, where the striker disclosed the specifics of Al Hilal’s pursuit of his signing. Osimhen described it as a “crazy” experience.

The Nigerian stated, “The more I said no, the more they increased their financial offer again and again. It was difficult to refuse and it would change my life”. Osimhen admitted that it was difficult to turn down such a life-changing opportunity. “But I finally said no guys, I’m staying,” Osimhen added.

This revelation further sheds light on the extent to which Saudi clubs aspire in their pursuit to recruit top stars. Their vision and financial backing have empowered them to compete with some of the most prominent clubs for the signing of world-class players.
