His soccer club, Al Nassr, lies in the second position of the Saudi Pro League, and Al-Ittihad looks to close out the remaining weeks by claiming the title.

Therefore, things are looking sketchy for Ronaldo and Co. Despite scoring 14 goals in the league, he is unhappy with the current situation and wants to challenge more. Sticking to the point of the next destination, a second league division coach offered him an exit. 

Former legendary AJ Auxerre manager, Guy Roux, explained a perfect situation for Ronaldo to ponder upon after the latest exit rumors. He can play in the second division of France. 

Is Cristiano Ronaldo going to play in the French second division?

The manager explained how Ronaldo could match his ambitions in the second division of France called the French Ligue 2. According to Sports Info, Roux stated, “Me, I would see him in the second division, in the French Ligue 2. And then I would say that about Messi in a year, no doubt.” 

The manager wants him in the second division along with Argentinian legend Lionel Messi, who currently plays for the Ligue 1 side Paris Saint Germain. However, he wants to leave the French division. Messi is eyeing a return to Saudi Arabia along with Barcelona as an option.

Roux continued, “In the past, professionals who had not made a fortune spent a few years as player-coaches in honorary division teams. It no longer exists but it could exist, and Ronaldo and Messi could evolve in Niort and Rodez in two years. As long as they are nice and get the youngsters to play, it would really help.”
