With club soccer at a halt, Kylian Mbappe left Luis Enrique’s camp to join his national teammates for the international break. Despite leaving his domestic business behind, talk surrounding his future at PSG unsurprisingly came up during his time with France.

Before the FIFA World Cup qualifier against Gibraltar, Kylian Mbappe sat down for a press conference. A journalist asked about his possible renewal with the Ligue 1 side. Interestingly, he replied, “We are here to talk about the French national team, the country before anything”. With an unexpected response, the 24-year-old straightaway rejected the idea of talking about his club matters.
