Although the PSG forward was visibly gutted after not winning any accolade at the Ballon d’Or ceremony, Mbappe decided to be a part of an exclusive campaign, spreading an essential message to the younger generation.

The iconic brand also once joined hands with NBA icon Michael Jordan. For more than two decades, Jordan has become the sportsman capable of shifting the balance, and in some ways, the legend that changed sports partnerships. In soccer too, Mbappe’s commercial value is on the rise.

The young soccer star didn’t let his spirits dampen after the Ballon d’Or snub, as he seized the opportunity to join hands with premium eyewear brand, Oakley. In an exclusive campaign, Mbappe teamed up with Oakley to emphasize the importance of vision care, especially among the youth. At a special event, children had the privilege of seeing the soccer star up close and personal. Their excitement was palpable as the PSG forward shared his vision, both on and off the pitch.

Interestingly, Kylian Mbappe isn’t the first iconic athlete to join forces with Oakley. The all-time NBA great Michael Jordan was also an Oakley brand ambassador. His sunglasses, often seen during his iconic ‘The Last Dance’ documentary series, featured the Oakley signature.
