The summer transfer window has been quite busy for Inter Miami. Following the additions of Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets, another Barcelona star was captured by the Herons. David Beckham’s side recently brought Jordi Alba to Florida. As for Alba, the decision must have been easy, given his former teammates’ presence. Jordi Alba snubbed better offers before joining Inter Miami

After signing for Miami, Alba spoke about his move. He revealed that shortly after he decided to leave the Catalans, he had “nothing”, but knew his “cycle at Barcelona was over.” After leaving with the national team, the defender began talks with Miami. Interestingly, the Spaniard has revealed he rejected a few offers before joining the Pink side. However, he insisted that the “right decision was to come here.”

“We want to continue competing, winning, and I think we are on the right stage.” He continued, “I made the decision after the national team. Despite having offers of more money, I think the important thing for me was to feel important. The confidence of the club and the coach made me value this option as the one I liked the most.”
