Now that he plays for Inter Miami, life is more than just soccer for Lionel Messi. Since transferring to the MLS side, the Argentinian superstar and his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, have forged unique friendships in the Magic City, particularly with David Beckham and his wife, Victoria Beckham. Keeping their bonds strong, Messi’s wife has sent a touching message to Victoria on the occasion of her newfound friend’s birthday. 

The Argentinian influencer posted a picture alongside the former Spice Girl on her Instagram story. Roccuzzo also added a caption alongside the picture saying, “The happiest birthday to you [red heart and cake emoji].” In reply to the heartfelt wish, Victoria re-shared the story among her 32.2 million followers with other sincere messages. Certainly, the English fashion designer would be pleased with the message from Messi’s wife on her 50th birthday. 

Notably, Victoria and Antonela have forged a remarkable friendship over the months since Messi signed for the Florida-based club. They often share glimpses of going on dinner dates with each other on their social networks. In fact, the WAGs of 8-time Ballon d’Or winner’s Miami teammates, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, have also been witnessed joining the lady clique alongside the significant others of Messi and David.

Interestingly, La Pulga, on the other hand, has yet to publicly wish his Beckham’s wife. Perhaps, the 36-year-old might have sent a personal DM to the British fashion designer. Meanwhile, just like Antonela, David also had a unique birthday wish for his beloved wife.

Just like Lionel Messi’s wife did, David Beckham also makes Victoria’s Day special!

David Beckham posted a lengthy clip on Instagram featuring a series of pictures and old clips of Victoria. Aside from wishing his ‘beautiful wife’ birthday, he encouraged the fashion aficionado to be proud of her past achievements as a ‘Posh spice, businesswoman, and marrying an England captain.’ Additionally, the Manchester United icon highlighted their four kids as the reason for her success. “Have a special day. You deserve it all 🩷 50 and fit 🩷 I AM BEING HONEST 🩷,” added the Miami owner. 

Interestingly, the wishes didn’t end there, as he also shared four different stories, as well, that had very old pictures of Victoria. Aside from writing ‘I love you’ in the first three pictures, the last story saw the fashion designer posing with a soccer ball. He also added a caption saying, “I knew she always loved football.” In reply, Victoria reshared the story and wrote, “Turns out I taught David everything he knows about the game.” Indeed, it was quite a cheeky response from the birthday girl. Such wishes from David and Antonela must have made her day even more special.
