Turkish journalist and transfer expert Ekrem Konur had earlier said that Liverpool is considering to extend Mohamed Salah’s contract until 2027. This is to keep Saudi clubs like Al Ittihad at bay. Now, according to Konur’s recent update on X, ‘Liverpool believes they will extend’ Salah’s contract until 2027, despite mammoth offers from the likes of Al Ittihad. Since Jurgen Klopp‘s side thinks the contract extension is possible, they would indeed have spoken to Mo Salah about the matter, and perhaps he might have given the nod.

Though the official communication is yet to be out, it is likely for the 31-year-old to have a longer stay at Anfield. He had stayed loyal to Klopp and co. when Al Ittihad came up with back-to-back enterprising offers. Furthermore, he is not loyal just for the sake of being loyal. The superstar attacker is having quite the comfortable stay with the Reds.
