Megan Rapinoe is one of the greatest players in the history of US soccer. She has led her side to emphatic glory, thus lifting two World Cups. Besides this, she has also enjoyed a decent amount of success in domestic terms. With her age of around 37, she has a few golden years left to enjoy soccer. However, it seems one of her teammates is already hanging boots as yesterday, Ali Krieger announced her early retirement as this will be her final season of soccer.

This is, of course, sad news for soccer fans, who’ll surely miss the great defender. However, it seems, more than others, Rapinoe is the one who is sad about her teammates’ retirement. This can be proven with her latest social media haul. Just after Krieger made the announcement, Rapinoe went to her Instagram and gave her teammate a brilliant and hysterical message. She posted a series of stories with funny captions as well.
