However, his efforts seem to have gone in vain, as reports suggest that ‘Mbappe has not communicated any change of mind to anyone.’

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano might have an update that may break the hearts of Parisians. The renowned Italian journalist recently reported that the situation remains the same regarding Mbappe’s departure to Real Madrid. The 25-year-old hasn’t even told anyone about his decision or intention to stay in the French capital. In fact, the 2018 World Cup winner is rather in ‘advanced talks‘ with the La Liga giants over his transfer to Santiago Bernabeu. Additionally, PSG is also bracing itself for life without Mbappe, as they are secretly working on next season’s project without him. This update is similar to what Enrique said earlier about the winger. 

During the shoot of PSG’s documentary with Amazon Prime Video, the former Barcelona coach remarked, “I still hope that Kylian changes his mind. He hasn’t said anything at the moment, he can change his opinion. Let’s imagine that we win all four titles this season and that Kylian makes his decision at the last moment… that his place is in Paris. Why not? We’ll see.” 

However, with this latest update from Romano, it appears that the inevitable will occur. Enrique and his team must focus on how they will manage life without Mbappe. Alternatively, will they wait for his decision until the transfer deadline set by the French star himself?

During France’s 2-0 loss to Germany, Kylian Mbappe faced inquiries about his future once more, to which the player calmly replied. He said, “By the EUROs, people will know. I’m very calm about it. My future is no longer a topic at the club. No one talks to me about it anymore. And I will play the EUROs with a calm head.” It seems that the soccer world will need to wait longer to hear an answer from Mbappe regarding his future.
