Neymar Jr. had a rough outing for Brazil last night. The Brazilian icon seemed to struggle against Venezuela, ending in a 1-1 draw. The Al Hilal star made some good moves during the game, but he failed to capitalize on some crucial opportunities. While the Brazilian fans applauded their star despite a poor showing, a section of Venezuelan fans displayed an ugly indication of sheer disrespect towards the opposition’s star player.

This was Neymar’s first outing for the national team following the birth of his daughter, Mavie. Fans hoped that the player would have additional motivation to perform on this outing, but the Al Hilal star looked a tad out of touch. Neymar still has one more game during the international break, before he travels to Al Hilal.

Neymar Jr endured a tough game against Venezuela last night as he failed to get his name on the scoresheet. While the first half ended in a goalless draw, Arsenal defender Gabriel gave the Selecao the opening goal in the 50th minute. However, Venezuela’s Eduard Bello stopped Brazil from walking away with 3 points at the end of the final whistle. The Venezuelan scored with a sensational bicycle kick in the 85th minute to level the game.

While the Brazilian fans applauded the home team despite the draw, a section of Venezuelan fans were caught on camera following an ugly gesture against Neymar Jr. With the Brazilian walking towards the dressing room following the end of the game, a section of Venezuelan fans threw popcorn at him, which did not go down well with the player. The Al Hilal star stopped and was seen saying something to the fans before he was ushered out to the back.
