After a long and grueling season with Al Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo has been rewarded with a well-deserved leave. The Saudi club has determined to give the Portuguese icon and the complete squad a 15-day go-away, starting right after their Saudi Pro League match against Al Taawoun on 30th December.

The upcoming match marks the cease of a fruitful year for Al Nassr. The Saudi club won their first-ever Arab Club Champions Cup title this year and currently sits 2nd in the Saudi Pro League points table. Subsequently, Luis Castro has decided to give his players a New Year present in the form of some time off.

According to recent reports from Saudi journalist Abdulaziz Al-Osaimi, the entire Al Nassr squad, which includes the 5x Ballon d’Or winner, will head to the Qassim province for an upcoming match against Al Taawoun. After the game, they will grant the players a 15-day leave to rest and rejuvenate.

Manager Luis Castro authorized the decision. This break comes as no surprise, considering Cristiano Ronaldo’s exemplary work ethic and commitment to the team. According to reports, Ronaldo did not miss a single minute of team training with Al Nassr this year.
