The FIFA World Cup is over and players are finally returning to their club duties. Many soccer players are joining their clubs after a brief holiday after the world cup. The season will be resuming after Christmas, however, few are returning earlier than they would have liked. Players who got eliminated from the tournament during the early knockout stage or group stage are starting training again. In the middle of this shuffle, one Brazilian star shared a nightmare story on his Instagram. Brazil was one of the fan favorites to win the tournament. Neymar tried, but destiny had something else in mind.
Fans considered this world cup the last one for the Brazilian star Neymar. The 30-year-old star tried his best to win it for the nation, but Croatia got the win and left Neymar devastated. After a break in Brazil, players are now returning to their clubs for training and resuming the season. However, not everyone arrived on time and one of them was caught in a very nightmarish situation.

The airline left the passengers and the teammate of Neymar without food
While returning to Barcelona from Brazil, Brazilian soccer player Raphinha shared how his layover in Lisbon became a plot of a very goofy movie. He got late from when he was due to join his team. On top of all that, TAP Air Portugal refused to provide food and lost its language.

He shared the incident and wrote, “I would like to thank TAP for leaving us on the plane for more than an hour… Many people had a layover and could not have lunch, I’m one of those people, and they said they’re not going to give us lunch or anything. What a beautiful lack of respect on TAP.”
Raphinha was stuck for 3+ hours

In the following story on his Instagram, he wrote, “Thank you TAP once again, besides delaying a flight for 3 hours (sitting inside the plane). They managed to lose two bags”. Clearly, the situation has gone bad. He was stuck in Lisbon while his team was expecting him in Barcelona.
