We may not know about the paparazzi, but one man who always stands by Lionel Messi is his personal bodyguard, Yassine Chueko. The former US Army soldier walks around the Argentinian superstar like a shadow. In fact, to ensure La Pulga’s safety from potential dangers, Chueko is taking part in ‘challenging and exhilarating’ training sessions alongside Brazilian MMA fighter, Luan Aguirre Elias, leaving fans in disbelief.

Yassine Chueko is quite active on his only social media account, Instagram, where the former Navy Seal shared his intense training workout with his 423K followers. Posting four clips, Messi’s personal escort was seen practicing MMA and boxing styles with Luan Aguirre. Judging by the videos, all the kicks and punches were quite hard as Chueko practiced with utter determination and focus.

He even wrote a caption saying, “Since arriving in Miami, I have been training with @luanchileno who excels in combat sports. His expertise and dedication have greatly improved my martial arts skills and techniques. His passion for combat sports is contagious, making each training session both challenging and exhilarating.” In response, Luan expressed his pleasure in working alongside the former Iraq and Afghanistan soldier. He also wrote, “Let’s go to the top! you can always count on me! 🙏🏼💪🏼🚀.”

Notably, just like Chueko, Luan Aguirre Elias also has a good CV. He is a 4x WMO Muay Thai World Champion in the +91kg category. Aside from offering services as a coach and bodyguard, the pro fighter teaches kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, self-defense, conditioning, and weight training.

Clearly, Chueko is learning from the best, just to make sure Messi’s security stays on point, especially after he has been outsmarted by fans invading the pitch to meet the Inter Miami star. But fans believe that won’t be happening now.
