Things have come down crumbling for Jadon Sancho like a house of cards this season. The player had a highly documented spat with manager Erik ten Hag at Manchester United this season, which has seen Sancho being frozen out of the first team. With the January transfer window fast approaching, fans have been speculating about the Englishman’s future with the Saudi Pro League being a potential destination. However, it seems like the Middle Eastern league wants to do nothing with the ‘Out of Favor’ star.

According to Sky Sports, Saudi Pro League director Michael Emenalo has confirmed that there is no live interest in the player from their side. This is a colossal blow for Sancho, who’s slowly running out of options. With time ticking, it seems like a public apology might be the only way out for the promising Englishman.

The ongoing season has not turned out how Jadon Sancho might have expected. The player is currently lying in purgatory at Manchester United, with a public apology the only thing securing his return to the first team. To add more to his misery, it seems the doors to the Saudi Pro League have also been slammed shut for the Englishman.

According to a journalist from Sky Sports who’s in touch with Saudi Pro League director Michael Emenalo, the Middle Eastern sides are not too keen on the player. “Jadon Sancho, somebody who’s out of favor at Manchester United. I asked if there was a possibility Sancho could be coming here. Emenalo basically said that, look, he is somebody that has been discussed. At the moment, there are no live talks about bringing Jadon Sancho here.”

The journalist then added, “I also got a feeling that Saudis don’t want to add players who are out of favor at other clubs. Jadon Sancho is someone who’s had well-documented problems with Erik ten Hag at Manchester United. So I’m not sure if he is somebody, the Saudis would be really interested in bringing in January.”

With Saudi out of the question, Sancho is slowly running out of options. It’s been reported that Manchester United is trying to land Barcelona’s Raphinha in a swap deal for the player. However, the player is more interested in a return to Borussia Dortmund.
