Batista was also one of the first female referees, along with Mariana de Almeida and Neuza Back, to officiate in a men’s club soccer game in the 2021 FIFA Club World Cup. Since then, the Brazilian has never looked back, gaining more such experience, especially after handling the 2023 Paulistao final.

Saudi Arabia, in its approach to going global, is adapting to the latest norms in soccer. The country will host the 2034 World Cup and is making the best possible efforts to build it up. Even the 2023 Club World Cup saw Tori Penso, the first full-time professional female referee in MLS, take charge of two games.
