Since then, the Brazilian has been an unstoppable force, racking up 1,277 appearances, placing him well ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo’s current total of 1,200.

The 43-year-old, after a low-key start, played for several famous clubs, including Atlético Paranaense and Cruzeiro. Deivson has also collected numerous accolades to his name; he was a part of the Vasco squad that won the 2000 Brasileiro Serie A.
