However, recently the American soccer star has shown her interest in tennis too. A week before the Australian Open, famous tennis players from all over the world are participating in a charity event. Recently, a clip of a rally between Coco Gauff and Frances Tifoe went viral.

Alex Morgan was one of the many people to comment on that clip. It was a light-hearted moment for the tennis world. Young American tennis star, Coco Gauff surprisingly managed to get the better of Frances Tiafoe.

This particular charity match was held in the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia. Tennis fans were shocked to see the young American star getting into the head of Tiafoe. The video was from one of the rallies during the match. Things started to get intense after Coco Gauff and Tiafoe started their banter while the rally was on.

Tiafoe started the chatter by saying, “Coco I’ll break you down”. Coco Gauff took Tiafoe up on the offer and started responding back. She mentioned that she waited her entire life for that moment. She kept saying that she wasn’t going to miss this. Ultimately, Tiafoe did not connect one of his shots well and hit the ball straight into the net.

The entire initiative is called ‘Tennis Plays for Peace’. ‘Tennis Plays for Peace’ is a global initiative that brings the fans and tennis community closer to each other. All proceeds from the event go towards helping the humanitarian relief operations in Ukraine.

Popular tennis names like Andy Murray, Grigor Dimitrov, Rafael Nadal, Marta Kostyuk, and many other tennis stars were part of the roster for the charity event. The ITF, ATP, WTA, and all grand slams endorse the tournament.
