The French forward also finished in the third position in the Ballon d’Or rankings behind Erling Haaland and winner Lionel Messi. Amid all this, PSG manager Luis Enrique had maintained his silence on the verdict of Mbappe not winning a Ballon d’Or. However, suddenly during the press conference ahead of their match against Montpellier, Luis Enrique said Mbappe needs to do only one thing to win the prestigious trophy.

Luis Enrique speaking on the chances of Mbappe winning the Ballon d’Or next year said, “To win the Ballon d’Or, in addition to the individual contribution that he already has, you need trophies. We try to win as many as possible with PSG. A player of this level, when he also has success, has Ballons d’Or. It’s a certainty.”
