According to Independent, Manchester United is willing to listen to offers on a set of seasoned players in the January transfer window. These stars include Casemiro, Raphael Varane, and Jadon Sancho, who are already free agents. The talk among soccer circles is that Erik ten Hag has been dealing with players who played under his predecessors. Apparently, ten Hag perhaps wants a reformation at Old Trafford, bringing in stars who best fit his managerial style.
Casemiro’s exploits at Old Trafford since his move from Real Madrid have time and again given a respite to MUFC. However, the 31-year-old, as a midfielder, does not jibe very well with boss Erik ten Hag’s expectations from the role. Meanwhile, Casemiro too seems to be in pursuit of a novel experience at this point in his career. It is at this juncture that clubs like Al Nassr have eyed the 5x-UEFA Champions League winner.
