World Number six Stefanos Tsitsipas ended his 2019 season in the best possible way by clinching his career’s biggest title in London. This year, the Greek lad couldn’t defend his semi-finals spot at the Australian Open, but in the 2020 season, he has already won a title in Marseille. And later he reached the finals in Dubai.
It’s a big year for all the athletes around the globe with the Tokyo Olympics 2020 coming up in July. Just as all the athletes Tsitsipas aspires to leave Japan with a medal around his neck. “I’ll just have tears in my eyes if I leave from Tokyo with a medal. I think it’s every athlete’s dream. Also, it’s just fulfilling,” he stated.
“It’s a great thing to have. It’s a great milestone, achievement, call it however you like to call it. It’s going to be one of the best two weeks of my life in Tokyo,” Stefanos Tsitsipas reflected.

Certainly in Tokyo, Greek tennis is anticipating to end their 124-year-old wait for an Olympic medal in tennis. And Tsitsipas is their sole hope.
