UFC two-division champion, Daniel Cormier, took a break from the commentary bench at UFC 261 to confront Jake Paul. Cormier’s face-to-face confrontation came after Paul took to Twitter after his last fight and called out the AKA standout. Cormier, who had initially decided not to respond to Paul on his show ‘DC and Helwani’, seemingly changed his stance.

Jake Paul has captured the attention of the combat sports world after he violently finished Ben Askren in their boxing bout. Following his first-round KO win, fans came out and called out to Paul to take on a ‘real boxer’. As he made his way to the front row in Jacksonville, fans in attendance had a rather powerful reaction to his presence. As it stands, Paul’s star power is clearly unmatched.

However, it’s clear that Jake Paul is just about fine garnering attention by making call-outs against fighters he won’t actually face. The odds of Jake Paul vs Daniel Cormier are slim to none, however, anything can happen in fight sports.

UFC fans in attendance at UFC 261 couldn’t contain themselves when they saw Jake Paul in the crowd. As the main card fight between Anthony Smith and Jimmy Crute went along, fans began booing Paul.
