UFC 263 was a milestone event for the organization in more ways than one. The UFC came back down to the Gila River Arena in Glendale Arizona with two marquee title fights that delivered. Additionally, both the title features had the potential to be historic as Marvin Vettori and Brandon Moreno both stood a chance to become first-time champions of their respective countries.
When it was all said and done, Brandon Moreno did indeed go down as the first-ever Mexican-born UFC champion after UFC 263. Unfortunately for Marvin Vettori, he came up short in his bid to become the first Italian-born UFC champion.

The fight card bolstered 14 fights with 11 of those contests going the distance. In the eyes of some fans who crave high octane action, this could very well be looked at as a record not worth having.
