Despite coming out of retirement, the pre-fight antics of Ben Askren have remained as interesting as ever. As the date for his boxing match with Jake Paul draws closer, Askren is making sure he gives the fans their daily share of entertainment. After posting daily videos of his workout with his quirky captions, Askren has resorted to a different genre of trolling this time around.
In a video posted on his social media, Askren has used the clip from the ending credits of the movie Step Brothers originally featuring Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly. However, in place of characters Brennan and Dale, there are faces of Askren along with his podcast co-host John Kim.
The kids are a representation of several social media platforms, such as YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, and Tik Tok. Just like Brennan and Dale exact their revenge on the kids by beating them up, Askren and Kim do the same with one of the kids representing Jake Paul.

The Askren-Paul fight has been a matter of debates involving analysts from both the boxing and the MMA community. Even though Ben Askren has competed as an athlete at the highest level, he hasn’t displayed a knack for striking in his MMA career. Almost all his career victories have come via him taking his opponents on the ground and controlling them thereafter.
