Boxing is indeed one of the most loved sports within the arsenal of martial arts. Without a doubt, Joe Rogan has revealed multiple times how much he loves the sport. However, recently he revealed his disappointment and sorrow at the dropping of one of the major boxing networks in the previous episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’. Doubtlessly, being a fan of the sport caused him immense sadness when HBO Boxing was announced to be shut down permanently. Nonetheless, the color commentator still gets excited when fighters with great records land in the ring. With Gervonta Davis entering the boxing ring, Rogan simply could not hold down his excitement.

‘Tank’ Davis has landed against Hector Luis Garcia in the Lightweight World Championship on Showtime Boxing. Without a doubt, the UFC commentator declared his excitement on social media.

Joe Rogan excited about a boxing PPV
The beloved UFC commentator put forth a post on his Instagram revealing his excitement for a boxing fight. He wrote, “Excellent fight card on tonight from @showtimeboxing PPV.” Without a doubt, he meant the fight between Davis and Garcia.

Although the color commentator’s main job revolves around mixed martial arts and UFC, he has always shown a fondness for boxing and grappling. Unquestionably, the former Fear Factor host showed off his amazement and excitement at the news.

The fight between ‘Tank’ and Garcia is without a doubt going down under one of the best cards of the month. However, after talking about some sad moments in boxing, the JRE host’s excitement is on another level.
Rogan was sad about HBO Boxing
In the JRE episode #1920, the 55-year-old podcaster revealed a sorrowful event related to boxing. While talking with his guest, Dave Portnoy, he stumbled upon the sensitive subject of HBO Boxing. It was when Portnoy talked about a boxer who competed in the promotion.

Rogan was undoubtedly hurt. He said, “Interesting, which doesn’t exist anymore now, unfortunately. Which is a f**king terrible tragedy. I used to love HBO boxing. Jim Lampley and f**king Roy Jones Jr. HBO boxing was one of the greatest institutions that ever existed. In fact, they went away made me so f**king sad. I couldn’t understand why they would do that. They put on some of the most amazing fights ever.”
