The Dillon Danis and Logan Paul drama has traveled far past the internet. And the actual face-off is still yet to happen. Danis and his choice of explicit posts of Paul’s fiancee Nina Agdal have been making headlines for months now. The fighter ensured that he would go above and beyond to try and break Paul’s mental.

His tricks, however, did not sit very well with the model about to marry Paul. Danis and his Twitter shenanigans went far past promoting a fight even if the fighter didn’t realize it. Perhaps it’s Team Conor’s influence, calling out your opponent’s families looks like a common theme against a popular rival. However, Conor McGregor never ended up in a court drama. Danis on the other hand is a whole different story. So when Joe Rogan‘s friend Brendan Schaub commented on the situation, Logan Paul was not happy.

Schaub is a regular on The Joe Rogan Experience. The comedian and former fighter decided to give his two cents over the whole Danis-Paul drama and it cost him. Danis was sued by Agdal for his egregious tweets against her and she’s demanding over $150,000 in damages. Schaub was not happy with the lawsuit and tweeted, “This bums me out. First rule of fight club 1. Don’t sue another fighter building the fight.”

The question here becomes one of basic morality. Is entertainment and building a fight over and above everything? Even if it means harassing a person on a daily basis just for being related to your opponent? All we know is, Logan Paul took a strong stance in defense of his wife-to-be. And he didn’t water anything down in his tweet and subsequent story on Instagram.

“. . . I’m not the one suing him. He picked a fight with an innocent woman who is standing up for herself the only way she can: by holding a predator legally accountable for breaking the law — any person who doesn’t understand that is a delusional tw*t. The lawsuit is HER choice, and I fully support her.”

Clearly, Paul and Agdal have a game plan ready for the fight in the ring and in the courtroom. Agdal and her battle is separate from Paul’s but they seem as supportive as they can be. Many fans agreed with Paul when he wrote “This twisted ‘promotion’ has gone FAR beyond the fight game & you know that.” as a response to Schaub’s shallow accusations.

What’s next and what’s already happened?

So far, Dillon Danis has failed to appear in court for a hearing for Agdal’s restraining order against him. The order went through and now Danis is barred from ever engaging with her or talking about her in public. This means the highly motivated and explicit tweets are on a break for the foreseeable future.

In the meantime, Danis is still meant to appear for his fight against Paul. Even though rumors about him pulling out took the internet by storm, Danis is still going to make it. The fight for Misfits Boxing will go down on the 14th of October. Paul has promised to “break” Dillon Danis’ face for all he’s done. Do you think he’s going to be able to pull it off?
